Booby Bliss Balls

Mar 29, 2021

I get it, breastfeeding hunger is real.

It's an innate response to help you as a baby-Mum fuel your body with adequate calories and nutrients in order to meet the demands of healing your body post birth and meet the needs of your new bundle of joy.

This snack recipe is full of galactogogue foods to help with your Mums milk production and keep you fuller between meals. Whip up a batch and keep them in your fridge for a few days, or freeze to enjoy later on.

While you can also enjoy this snack if you're not breastfeeding, in this case I'd suggest to cut the sweetener amount down.

Booby Bliss Balls

What You'll Need:

1 cup rolled oats (use gluten free oats if yo are gluten intolerant)

1/4 cup flaxseed meal

1/2 tablespoon brewers yeast (leave out if you are coeliac or intolerant to gluten)

1/4 cup tahini, 100% peanut or other nut butter

1/4 cup maple syrup

1 tbsp raw honey

1 tablespoon MCT oil (use coconut oil if you don't have MCT)

1 tablespoon collagen powder (optional for extra healing)- if you use this, add an extra 2 tbsp of nut butter

1/4 cup dark chocolate, blitzed (optional)

What To Do

Add the ingredients into your food processor, and blend until well combined.

Roll into small balls and add to the refrigerator for an hour before serving, or freeze with baking paper between layers to have later on.

Enjoy 1-2 per day to support your breastmilk production.
