Pink Probiotic Smoothie Bowl

Nov 02, 2020

Are you conscious of your family's gut health? As the weather warms up, this probiotic and antioxidant rich smoothie bowl is a quick and easy option to add into your day.

It's also a perfect dish to hide any superfood powders, or other natural medicines you're trying to disguise- especially in the height of pregnancy nausea.

I use the super probiotic strength cultures to make my homemade coconut yoghurt (don't worry, it's super easy). You can do the same here (and use code BABY for 10% off).

If you want to experiment with different colours, try mulberries or blueberries in place of the raspberries. You can also swap out the tahini, for your fav nut butter. Tahini is my choice here, for a greater source of calcium.

What You'll Need:

Makes 2 small bowls/ 1 large bowl

1 cup coconut yoghurt (I use this culture* to make high strength probiotic yoghurt)

1 tablespoon coconut water kefir (I use this culture)*

1/4 cup raspberries (I use frozen organic ones)

1/2 banana

1 dessertspoon tahini

1/2 tsp true cinnamon

What You'll Need To Do:

Add all ingredients into your blender and blend until thick and smooth.

Serve in a bowl and if you wish, add your fav seeds or nuts as a topping.
