Are you a baby Mumma, or soon-to be?
Learning what is safe and not safe when it comes to natural medicine can be overwhelming at times. Herbal teas are often a safe substitutes for stronger herbal medicine forms that may be contraindicated while pregnant and breastfeeding.
Today to help gain some clarity and practical tips for your herbal medicine journey as a Mumma, I've turned to the owner of one of my favourite herbal tea brands.
Back in my early blogging days I had a segment Called 'Monday Motivators'. Do you remember? I forgive you if you don't ;) The point of my story is that this is where I first met a fellow Naturopath and Nutritionist Kate Dalton. Kate had just finished her studies and was in the early days of founding her organic tea company, Mayde Tea.
Kate is committed to empowering those around her including new mothers and is passionate about providing education and support to help them to improve their quality of life and enhance overall wellbeing. As well as running a successful and thriving business she is a mother herself also values the importance of sharing her knowledge and experiences. Kate weaves iridology, herbal medicine, nutritional interventions, and lifestyle coaching to bring about positive change.
I first tried Kate's Mayde Tea Roobois Chai back when her doors first opened and I've been addicted to the range ever since. The Mayde Tea Nursing blend also played a nourishing role in my fourth trimester breast-feeding journey.
Now being a Mumma herself, I wanted to catch up on the years between our last chat and find out more about how Kate balances life as a Naturopath, Mumma and business owner and gain some herbal medicine tips along the way.
